Trip to Cali...

I realized that most of my pics from my trip to California are from Disneyland. I am horrible about picking up the camera. Well here are the few moments that I did capture.

Since I came down by myself with the three kids. I broke the trip up into two days on the way down. I stayed with my brother Kyle, who is living in Cedar City. Hopefully, he will be moving up here shortly. His fiance just got accepted into BYU-I.

Here is my mom and Ellie on Dumbo. This was my mom's first time on Dumbo! After all the times I have dragged her to Disneyland. I couldn't believe it.

My mom and the kids on the tea cups.

Ellie attempting to dominate the top scores on the Toy Story ride.

David & Ellie sporting the glasses for the Toy Story ride.
David & Jared getting ready to get wet on the Grizzly rapid ride.

Julie (My mother in law) before the ride.

Julie after the ride...a little wet.

Rachel convinced Grandma Denos to put her arms in the air. I had to get a picture.

Grandma Mayfield carrying Ellie around. Jared ended up sick the day we went to Disneyland. He spent most of the day in the stroller, but he didn't let it stop him from enjoying Disneyland. I carried Jared most of the time when we were in line. The next day I told Jared that my arm was sore from carrying him. He said, "Mom, that's exercise." Being a mom is a thankless job.

Ellie enjoying on of the enormous & yummy corn dogs from California Adventure.

Grandma Denos with Rachel & Jared...waiting in yet another line.

Grandma Mayfield & Ellie. I love this picture.

I stayed an extra day because my mom got vouchers to go to american idol, it was quite a day. Ellie ended up sick but David volunteered to watch the kids. He even cleaned up Ellie's puke. That's above and beyond the call of duty. So, I decided to go.
My parents, Chelsea, and I ended up not being able to get in...there was too many VIP tickets. But we got to see some of the dancing with the star people and Simon & Randy on a commercial break outside. We were bummed that we didn't get in but Simon said, "Trust me, you're not missing anything." Sounds like Simon. We ended up having a good time anyway...
We went to the grove and walked around The Grove. Not a good idea, I found a Coach purse that I REALLY liked. Maybe in 10 years when we are done with school and paying off student loans. ha ha.
We also ate at the Cheesecake factory. I've never been there. It was amazing. Of course I couldn't just have dinner, I had to have dessert too. SOOOO GOOD!

We headed back the next day. I drove straight home. The kids did great minus a few insidencses Ellie was still a little recovering from being sick. Jared got gum stuck in Ellie's hair. But overall it wasn't so horrible that I wouldn't do it again.

One thing is for sure the trip wasn't long enough and I didn't get to see everyone I wanted too. Can't wait for the next trip to Cali!
