A couple months ago my mother in law asked if I would like her to order some peaches for me. I thought it would be fun to can some peaches. When the huge box of peaches was dropped off at my house. The only thought that came to me was "What was I thinking?" I even e-mailed my aunt Sharon and asked for advice. I laughed at her response..."Peaches, that's a little ambitious for your first try." But she said I could do it. So...Monday I was determined to tackle the peaches. I think I was in the kitchen 5 or 6 hours. It took a long time and I got tired of slicing peaches, so I made some peach Jam to take care of the rest. I have to say I was pretty impressed with myself. Now we have peaches to last us for a while!

Wow, you are ambitious! I remember helping my Mom can peaches when I was younger. It's a lot of hard work and that was just from the perspective of a child. Good job! I'm sure that the fruits of your labors will be very enjoyable for your family! :)
