Last weekend my brother & his wife came up to get their books and take care of a few things to get ready for Spring Semester. They are coming up to BYU-I for this semester so Sonja can graduate sooner. Long story short...she had to petition to reinstate her as a student. I will let Sonja tell the long version of the story on her blog.
Then we decided to head up to Mesa Falls. It was about an hour drive and we got withing 5 miles of the falls and the roads were still covered in snow and there is no way for us to get to them. HUGE BUMMER!
We didn't let that stop us from having fun. We got to the bottom of the mountain and fed the fish. It's amazing how long you can be entertained by fish. There were a ton and we even saw a couple of pretty big ones. But then we started to get rained on. So we got back in the car...

We weren't ready to head home so we headed back to R mountain. David, Sonja, and Alysa hadn't been hiking up R mountain yet and we had so much fun the last time.

What a fun day! I love the pictures of the cool scenery but especially my great family. Kirstie, you need to let someone else take YOUR pictures sometimes too!
