How does your garden grow?

Saturday we had fun planting a little garden. It isn't much because we really don't have anywhere to plant a garden. Big pots are pretty expensive, so I got the idea to use storage containers, drill holes in the bottom, and let the kids paint them to decorate and add little personality to them.

I should have thought this through better and put a tarp down on the kitchen floor. Luckily, we didn't have too many mishaps.
Guess what Jared painted? Yep, his favorite...WATERMELON!

Rachel is painting carrots on her garden container.

We planted tomatoes, beans, peas, and some squash.
Jared sacrificed some of his fishing worms and put them in the soil.

I hope something grows...At least we had fun!
